While indoors, you are unable to acquire satellite reception – please make sure you are outside. To get satellite signal on the golf course, you need to have an unobstructed view of the sky. Please head to the tee box. Weather may interfere the signal strength. Usually initial satellite connection may take up to 15 minutes.

• If you are still experiencing issues, please reboot the device. To perform an emergency reboot: Please turn off the unit. Connect the USB data cable to your computer or wall charger. While holding down the P and large Main button located on the front of the unit, connect the USB cable to the unit. When the screen starts to flash, release the two buttons. • Please make sure the volume is not muted and turned up by using the volume (+/-) buttons on the right side of the unit.

While holding down the P and large Main button located on the front of the unit, connect the USB cable to the unit. When the screen starts to flash, release the two buttons. • If the unit does not last near 2 rounds of golf, please make sure you are charging the unit for about 4 hours before use.

• If you are charging through the USB port on the computer, try charging directly through a wall port charger for 4 hours.

• If it has been approximately 2 years since its first use, the battery may need to be replaced.

How to correct the measurement in Golf Buddy Voice 2?

• Please verify that your unit is set to the correct unit of measurement (Y for yards, M for meters). If it is in Meters, an M will be displayed on the upper right of the screen. To change the unit of measurement, press and hold down the + button.

If Golf Buddy Voice 2 is not syncing, what should I do?

• Please check to make sure the data cable and wall charger are inserted all the way and that the unit is turned on.

• Please verify that you have the correct version of the manager program installed. There are 2 types of manager programs – 1 is G3 Manager (shows as GolfBuddy World Course Manager on your desktop or G3Mac on a MAC), the other is GB Manager (shows as GB Manager on your desktop or GBMac on a MAC). The GB Manager pertains to the older models including the Tour, Pro and Plus. All other models are supported by the G3 Manager.

• If unit still will not sync, please try a different USB port on the computer. Try plugging it into a USB 2.0 port rather than a 3.0 port (labeled SS port).

How to perform an emergency reboot?

To perform an emergency reboot, please turn off the unit. Connect the USB data cable to your computer or wall charger. While holding down the P and the Main button located on the front of the unit, connect the USB cable to the unit. When the screen starts to flash, release the two buttons. Once you reach SYNC screen, disconnect the USB cable from the unit. Turn on the device. Emergency Reboot is now complete.

How to change holes?

To manually change the hole, please press the Main button located on the front of the unit and the + button at the same time. This will bring up the hole selection option. Then use the + and – buttons to navigate through the hole numbers. Press the Main button located on the front of the unit to confirm the hole selection.

• To go to your previous hole, please press the Main button located on the front of the unit and the P buttons at the same time. This will allow you to go back to the previously played hole.

How to measure shot?

To measure your shot distance, please press the P button to initiate the distance measuring feature. Press and hold the Main button located on the front of the unit for 3 seconds to start measuring. Once you have arrived at the desired location, please press the P button to view the measured distance.

How to View Dynamic Green View?

To see the Dynamic Green View, please press the Main button located on the front of the unit. The shape of the green will rotate with your angle of approach and show you the real front, center and back distances to the green. The screen also provides the hole number, par information, satellite signal strength and left/right green information (if available).
