For the first time ever, Nike Golf have introduced a pair of spikeless Jordan golf shoes into their footwear line up for 2019 (Nike Jordan ADG spikeless golf shoes 2019).
The design itself takes inspiration from three of the most iconic Air Jordan sneakers: the Jordan III, the Jordan Trainer ST and the Jordan XI. All three of these silhouettes have previously had their own Nike Golf modifications, but this completely new style embraces three of their individual attributes to produce one of the best looking Air Jordan golf shoes we’ve seen to date.
The iconic elephant print in “cement grey” provides the signature look of an Air Jordan 3, while its positioning at the instep of the toe box is where the Air Jordan Trainer ST comes into play. Finally, the translucent blue outsole is a trait from the Air Jordan 11 Concords – otherwise known as “The Grail” in the wider sneaker community.
As for the technical specs, the brand new Jordan ADG silhouette is built to perform both on and off the golf course. This is largely in thanks to the spikeless outsole which has been introduced by Nike Golf; the same “integrated traction” platform which has already proven a major success on previous spikeless styles including the Air Zoom 90 IT. It has been expertly crafted using a soft yet durable rubber based material for long lasting, comfortable wearing on hard surfaces away from the course – but still retaining that exceptional spikeless traction for when you’re playing on the links.
The tumbled leather upper is soft to the touch and provides a premium look, while the injected Phylon foam midsole offers incredible cushioning. The heel counter unit is designed to improve stability through the golf swing, while the partial inner sleeves hugs your foot and combines well with the mesh tongue design for all round comfort. Signature “fire red” accent detailing features throughout, while the iconic Jumpman logo is also featured at the tongue, heel and at the front of the outsole.
In our opinion, it makes a whole lot of sense to introduce the Air Jordan ADG golf shoes and we’re incredibly excited to try them out on and off the course this season. Jordan ADG golf shoes
After successfully launching the first spikeless Jordan golf shoe earlier this year, the Nike ADG Golf Shoea are back with two new looks: a vibrant turquoise and a classic cement gray. The golf-ready shoe is inspired by previous non-golf shoes in the Jordan collection that bring some serious MJ style to the course.
All four colorways feature a translucent outsole, inspired by the Jordan XI Concord sneaker. The iconic Jumpman logo is visible during every moment of the golf swing and is found on the shoe in four locations—the back of the heel, the tongue, on the heel of the insole and on the bottom of the shoe.
While the first two iterations were primarily black and white, Nike released a more colorful pair in a color combination they call “Jade/Volt/Metallic White.” The mostly black shoe features a stylish turquoise at the heel and on the toebox print, with hints of the shade lining the tongue and interior of the shoe.
The new gray version honors the prominent cement-elephant print that have made the line famous, inspired by the 1988 Air Jordan 3 high-top shoes designed by Tinker Hatfield. The gray shoe is ornamented with gold Jumpman logos and a high-gloss black tongue. Beyond pure style, these golf shoes have the technical elements to boot. The plush midsole and flexible outsole give a natural, barely-there feel. These spikeless shoes are great for golfers who’d prefer to sacrifice support for an ultra-lightweight wear.
